"A meeting at The British Library between representatives of the draft Resource Description and Access (RDA) standard and members of other metadata communities* has resulted in a joint recommendation that the entities of RDA be defined as an RDF vocabulary. RDA is the draft successor to Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, the dominant standard for library catalogs worldwide."
